BBC News recently ran a very interesting article about children aspiring to become game developers and programmers in the future.

Learning to write code early and getting to grips with the game-making process can be a greatly rewarding experience.

The article also makes a very valid point – playing games is very different to creating games! Starting to learn coding at an early age certainly is fantastic, but it’s never too late to learn a new skill.

Developing for big consoles like Xbox or Playstation is still relatively difficult for small game developers, however developing games for mobile devices is a different story.
